final artist statement

The final project was so fun and challenging at the same time. I really enjoyed working with template and learning how to match skin tone. It was definitely a time consuming assignment, but the end result was worth it. Second life was a program that I had never heard before this project and it was     amazing to discover what a big thing it is. I loved working in the sandbox and making my giant glowing chicken of wonder! I tried to attach it to myself and it kept blocking the camera view. I also attempted scripting for the chicken to follow me but that was very difficult as well. I uploaded a feather texture for the body and changed the properties so the head and tail feathers flopped in the wind. overall I will definitely be exploring second life in the future.
